唐爱国，主任技师，教授，检验科主任，硕士生导师，湖南省医学会检验专业委员会候任主委，湖南省医院协会检验专业委员会副主委，湖南省临床检验质量控制中心副主任，湖南省医师协会理事，湖南省生物化学与分子生物学学会理事，《医学实验室与临床杂志》编委。长期致力于临床检验实验室方法的建立和临床应用工作，在国内率先引进、改良、建立与临床检验医学密切相关的多种物质的高效液相色谱测定方法和荧光分析法，有些测定方法达到国际先进水平。
临床检验学教研室主任。湖南省医学会检验专业委员会候任主委，湖南省医院协会检验专业委员会副主委，湖南省临床检验质量控制中心副主任，湖南省医师协会理事，湖南省生物化学与分子生物学学会理事，《医学实验室与临床杂志》编委。从事检验医学的医疗、教学、科研和管理工作四十多年，致力于医学实验室方法的建立和临床应用研究工作，在国内率先引进、改良、建立与临床检验医学密切相关的多种物质的高效液相色谱测定和荧光分析方法，部分实验方法达到国际先进或领先水平。承担、参与国家、省及厅级科研课题多项；获省医药卫生科技成果奖多项；申请国家发明专利5项；参编《临床生化检验》等专著多部；在《Clinica Chimica Acta》、《Clinical Biochemistry》、《Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine》、《中华检验医学杂志》和《色谱》等国内外学术刊物发表论文100多篇，其中SCI论文10多篇。编写专著多部。
